Help Support the Ginny Chizer Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Ginny Chizer Memorial Scholarship was created in 2010 in memory of Virginia Chizer, a former English and Drama teacher at Oak Hills High School and an active member of the Cincinnati area theater community. Ginny wore many hats, including director, actress, costumer and producer. She worked with numerous groups around town, and devoted much of her time working with the International Thespian Society, helping adjudicate high school shows all over the country, including working at ITS’ yearly national convention in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The scholarship created in her honor is intended to continue her passion for teaching and encouraging an unconditional love of theater. The scholarship is awarded yearly to a deserving OHHS Drama Club senior planning to continue their education in a variety of fields including education and the arts.
Your tax-deductible donation, no matter what size, will allow current students to continue to pursue their dreams.
